v2.5.0 — Public REST API & Site Analytics

Released: March 2026

The BlockchainAnalysis.io Public API is now live. Integrate wallet screening and entity lookup directly into your applications via a simple REST API with pay-per-use credit pricing.

New Features

• Public REST API — Three endpoints: wallet screening (POST /v1/screening), entity lookup (GET /v1/entity/:address), and usage/balance (GET /v1/usage). Full documentation at API Reference.
• API Key Management — Generate, name, and revoke API keys from the dashboard. Keys support permission scoping (screening, entity).
• API Credit System — Separate credit pool for API usage. Four packages from $199 (100 credits) to $9,999 (10,000 credits). Entity Lookup is free.
• Entity Lookup endpoint — Free, rate-limited (100 req/min) endpoint to query known entity labels and OFAC sanctions status for any address.
• 33+ blockchain support — All supported chains available via API: EVM (ETH, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, and more), UTXO (BTC, LTC, DOGE, DASH, ZEC, BCH, BSV), and others (SOL, TRON, XRP, XLM, ADA, DOT, TON, XMR, ATOM, ALGO, XTZ).

Improvements

• Admin user management — Admins can now create new user accounts directly from the admin dashboard with role assignment and credit allocation.
• ERC-20 token transfer support — Flagged transaction analysis now includes ERC-20 token transfers with correct token symbols.
• ENS resolution — Fixed ENS name resolution using Alchemy RPC.
• Etherscan V2 API — Migrated EVM clustering to Etherscan V2 API for improved reliability.

v2.4.0 — Multi-Chain Transaction Monitoring

Released: February 2026

Multi-chain transaction monitoring is now generally available. Add wallet addresses to your monitoring watchlist and receive real-time alerts when risk profiles change across any of the 38 supported blockchains.

New Features

• Multi-chain watchlist — Monitor addresses across all 38 supported chains from a single dashboard. Previously, monitoring was limited to EVM chains only.
• Configurable alert thresholds — Set per-address or global thresholds for risk score changes that trigger notifications. Options: any change, +/- 5 points, +/- 10 points, or custom.
• Alert channels — Receive monitoring alerts via email, webhook, Telegram (@AMLScreeningBot), or in-dashboard notifications.
• Monitoring frequency — Choose hourly, daily, or weekly re-screening intervals per address or globally.
• Bulk watchlist import — Upload a CSV with up to 10,000 addresses to add to your monitoring watchlist.

Improvements

• Improved risk score calculation speed by 40% for UTXO chains (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin).
• Added support for Blast and Mode networks (EVM L2).
• Updated OFAC SDN List integration to include newly designated addresses within 12 hours of publication.

v2.3.0 — IFRS Audit Reports

Released: December 2025

Comprehensive IFRS-compliant audit reporting for crypto-asset holdings, designed for auditors and CFOs at regulated entities.

• IFRS Reports module — Generate audit-ready reports covering fair value measurement (IFRS 13), impairment testing (IAS 36), revenue recognition (IFRS 15), and disclosure notes.
• Fair value schedule — Automated fair value classification (Level 1, 2, 3) for all crypto-asset holdings with pricing source documentation.

v2.2.0 — Telegram Bot

Released: October 2025

The BlockchainAnalysis.io Telegram Bot (@AMLScreeningBot) brings wallet screening directly to Telegram. Screen addresses, view risk scores, and download reports without leaving the messaging app.

New Features

• Standard screening — /screen [address] returns a risk score, entity match, and basic counterparty breakdown.
• Advanced screening — /screen_advanced [address] returns a full report with transaction timeline, counterparty breakdown, risk factor analysis, and PDF download link.
• Credit system — Pay-per-screening model with credit packages available (10, 50, 100, 500 credits). Purchase in-bot via Stripe.
• Chain selection — /chain [chain_name] to specify the blockchain for EVM-compatible addresses.
• Multi-chain support — All 38 supported blockchains available via the bot.

Improvements

• Reduced average screening response time from 12 seconds to 7 seconds for EVM chains.

v2.1.0 — Fund Origin Investigations

Released: August 2025

Deep-dive fund origin investigations that trace the complete source-of-funds chain for any wallet address, going beyond standard screening depth.

• Fund origin investigation — Extended source-of-funds tracing up to 20 hops (vs. 10 in standard screening), with full graph visualization.

Breaking Changes

• API v1 endpoints deprecated. Migration guide provided to all existing API users.
